Cobra Gold 2025 Opening Ceremony
Tuesday 25 February 2025 at Ruam Roeng Chai Club yard, Suranaree Camp, Korat.

Robert F. Godec, the United States Ambassador to Thailand, and General Ronald P. Clark, the commanding general of the United States Army Pacific, deliver opening remarks at the Cobra Gold 2025 opening ceremony.

The opening ceremony marks the 44th iteration of Cobra Gold, which started in 1982 and is the largest exercise in mainland Asia. This year, more than 3,200 U.S. service members are participating in the exercise, where they will be working side by side with allies and partners to participate in joint training, multinational engagements, and humanitarian projects. Friday 28 February 2025 at Air Squadron 101, Wing 1, Korat.

U.S. Marines with Marine Rotational Force-Southeast Asia (MRF-SEA), Royal Thai Armed Forces personnel, and service members from Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, and South Korea conduct a non-combatant evacuation operations at Air Squadron 101, Wing 1, Korat. Constructions of Multi-Purpose Room
This construction project is part of the Engineering Civic Action Program (ENCAP) which not only enhances Thailand’s infrastructure but also provides an opportunity to

strengthen bonds between the United States, Thailand, and participating nations at each site.
