Advanced Human Rights and Law of Armed Conflict Training Conducted at JUSMAGTHAI

From 14 to 17 July 2025, the Joint United States Military Advisory Group Thailand (JUSMAGTHAI) hosted the Advanced Human Rights and Law of Armed Conflict Training, led by legal experts from the Defense Institute of International Legal Studies (DIILS).

The training brought together Thai military personnel from the Counter Terrorist Operations Center (CTOC), Royal Thai Army (RTA) 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th Special Forces Regiments, and the Special Warfare Command (SWCOM).

Conducted in accordance with U.S. law and international legal standards, the course emphasized the importance of human rights, the law of armed conflict, civilian oversight of the military, and the rule of law. The event reflected the enduring commitment of the United States and Thailand to promote professional military conduct and uphold shared values in international security cooperation.
