Air Force Post Office (APO)/ Diplomatic Post Office (DPO)
APO/DPO are U.S. Postal Service facilities that handles mail for active-duty personnel stationed overseas that operates at one of the Department’s missions aboard as a branch post office of the U.S. Postal Service (USPS).
Hours of Operation: MON – FRI except holidays 10:30 – 16:00

- Patrons are encouraged to create a Click-N-Ship account through USPS.com in order to purchase postage and stamps for mailing purposes.
- Financial services, including the sale of postage and money orders, are currently unavailable.
- Registered Mail and Express Mail services are not available at this location.
- Authorized users include U.S. Military personnel, Department of Defense (DoD) civilians, contractors, retirees, and surviving family members only.

TRANSIENT QUARTERS
Transient Quarters is temporary lodging while on official travel or other transient assignments
Eligible Personnel
Transient quarters are reserved exclusively for individuals directly supporting military exercises or the JUSMAGTHAI mission. No exceptions will be made.
Eligible personnel include:
- Active-Duty Service Members traveling under official Temporary Duty (TDY) orders
- Reserve and National Guard Members on active-duty orders
- U.S. Department of State (DoS) Civilians on official travel orders
- U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Civilians on official travel orders
JUSMAGTHAI Transient Quarters Policy and Guidelines
Official guidelines and procedures for temporary lodging at JUSMAGTHAI facilities, ensuring fair access for all eligible personnel on official travel or transient assignments.
Defense Language Proficiency Tests (DLPTs)/ Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI)
Most federal government agencies rely on the Defense Language Proficiency Test, or DLPT, and the Oral Proficiency Interview – OPI, which are reliable, scientifically validated tools for testing language ability of DOD personnel worldwide.
DLPT Request
To submit a Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT) request, please email Jusmagthai@state.gov with the following details:
- Full Name
- Grade
- DODID Number
- Language
- Requested Date
OPI Request
To submit an Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) request, please email Jusmagthai@state.gov with the following details:
- Full Name
- Grade
- DODID Number
- Language
- MOS/AFSC/Rate
- Three preferred test dates (all tests begin at 09:30)
INDOOR GYM
Our fitness center is available daily, providing flexible workout options for early birds and evening exercisers alike. Plan your fitness routine around your work schedule with our extended hours.
HOURS OF OPERATION
Monday – Friday: 5:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Saturday – Sunday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
AUTHORIZED USERS
The gym and its equipment are provided jointly by the Thai Coordinating Authority and JUSMAGTHAI as a service to MWR-eligible personnel, U.S. Embassy – TCA employees, and other bona fide guests who comply with the facility’s rules and regulations.
Multi-Function Center (MFC)
