Joint Branch coordinates U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) engagements and strategic initiatives with Thailand’s Ministry of Defense and Royal Thai Armed Forces. It manages training programs through IMET, FMF, GPOI, and INDOPACOM Title 10. The branch also oversees the Washington National Guard’s State Partnership Program with Thai military counterparts, joint cyber activities, and End Use Monitoring (EUM). Through strong ties with Thai military, the U.S. Embassy, industry, and NGOs, Joint Branch supports bilateral defense and industrial cooperation.

The USMC Branch of JUSMAGTHAI is a key partner working with the Royal Thai Marine Corps (RTMC) through JUSMAGTHAI to strengthen Thailand’s defense, lead joint training and exercises (especially in amphibious operations, maritime security, and disaster relief), support Humanitarian Mine Action efforts, and help establish a Humanitarian Demining Center to enhance Thailand’s capacity for UXO clearance and civil-military response.
